Art And A.I.

I saw something online Sunday, but I remained silent, having commented on this before. However, since I've been asked to stop pulling punches, I'll say it again: Artists and creators need to make a living for self-preservation, and those in poverty deserve access to art and creations. I support artists and creators, but the harsh reality is that most people cannot afford their work due to exorbitant prices. Comparing prices to wages and the cost of living reveals a stark truth: a hierarchy exists where only the truly affluent can access the vast art and creations.

Furthermore, some artists refuse to bring certain visions to life, telling those with ideas to learn the necessary skills and create it themselves. That's exactly what AI does - it empowers individuals with vision but lacking skill to bring their ideas to fruition. And that's why AI gains support from average people to the homeless. Yes, AI takes money from artists and creators, but their pricing and exclusivity keep their work out of reach for the masses. I'm talking about pieces that cost one to sixty plus paychecks to afford, while most people live paycheck to paycheck and only being one paycheck away from living on the street. The situation is dire, and it's time to acknowledge the severity of this issue. Call A.I. users thieves & Artists bourgeoisie but it doesn't change the facts of the matter that we need an ideological systemic and culture shift.

AI and automation are an inevitable part of humanity's technological evolution and way of life. Capitalists and neo-feudalists will exploit them for their own gain while they can; conservatives and individualists will resist them if they threaten their comfort and control. However, we the people must not let either group jeopardize or hinder human progress and evolution. And yes, I'm using communist principles to counterbalance both groups equally. It's about oneness, not one.
