Neurodivergents Are Human AI
I have been told I have an analytical-factual-philosophical, mercurial, neurodivergent communication style that's hyper-focused. That I bounce from style to style and subject to subject, much like an AI. That this is why people question my intelligence and often accuse me of being an AI. That I know neurodivergents get mistaken for AI and to stop stressing over it.
So, I guess I look at things from a reasoning and logical standpoint, and I stick to provable facts and information. That I want to understand the who, what, when, where, and why something is. That I jump styles and subjects naturally without warning, and can stay on a subject forever, and my neurodivergencies mean I don’t conform to normal or typical lines of thinking or reasoning, making me appear AI. At least that's how I take it.
Furthermore, I’ve discovered that neurodivergency is often mistaken as AI by detectors. Purdue University Professor Rua Williams was accused of being AI. The professor deals with autism and probes that intelligence has nothing to do with one sounding like a computer program.
I understand the importance of wanting to know one’s talking to a human or wanting to make sure they know the correct source of information. This is especially true for teachers when it comes to students. However, technology to determine AI has to be updated to account for those that aren’t neurotypical. And society has to be able to understand the difference between the two as well.
So just for shits and giggles, I ran this blog through a few AI detectors. I got 0%, 1%, and 100% AI for this blog. I'm not gonna add fluff and filler to appease anyone if it's not needed in my writings.
