Evolve or Cut Our Bonds and Walk Away

By pretty much every dictionary definition, I am not a patriot. A nation is a segregated region controlled by sectarians, and patriots celebrate that segregation. These are individuals promoting their sectarian political identity or subdivision of intersectional identity stacking, which can be as small as an individual promoting their own individualism.

Tools for understanding oppression can be tools for creating oppression, and if one doesn't understand why putting themselves before humanity and the planet is wrong, which is common sense for those with empathy, they're a major part of the problem. Sectarian identity produces harm through resource allocation, institutional support, and the normalization of indifference to out-group suffering.

Being an anti-sectarian and cosmopolitan-internationalist means promoting human collective oneness and being anti-nation, anti-patriot, and anti-individualist sectarian political identity. We are human and earthling before we are individuals, people of a region, or anything else that divides us.

If you think of yourself as American, religious, ethnic, a social class, a career position, an individual, or anything else before being a humanist or earthling, you are wrong, causing direct or indirect harm, and are my philosophical-ideological opposition, and I guarantee that morally, you cross my redlines and use your sectarian identity politics to try to justify it, because philosophical-ideological views are intertwined and inseparable from the moral sense of right and wrong. This is indisputable and no twisted logic bad faith argument will change that fact and stance.

Declaration, not debate, persuasion, or negotiation. We're not trying to become guilty by association or transform because we tolerate. Rinse the bridge off by evolving or strike the match, there can be no unified front with those causing us harm, even if indirectly; doing right sometimes comes with risk and can be uncomfortable, you're currently risking neither, at everyone's expense.

I'm not saying this to build or mend bridges, and neither are those who walk among me with a like mind. We are telling you what we think of your moral character: that it is intolerable and viewed with disdain and disillusion. Re-educate, rehabilitate, and evolve, or burn the damn bridge linking our rapport.
