The Ontological Preconditions That Spawned Marxism and Dialectical Materialism.

Like it or not the reason why dialectical materialism exists, the reason why the analysis says things should change, the reason behind the want for humanity to reach its potential, for it to survive, to have equality, the for communism and Marxist-Leninism and most collective ideological, philosophical-ideological views on the left, comes down to morality, the sense of right and wrong and a belief on how things should be. That is morality, faith (optimism of the will), and philosophy, combined with one's reasoning, logic, emotion, and lived experience. Some called it enlightenment, others call it faith, delusional, or utopian fantasies but it all stems from those things. Ask Marx, Lenin til the end of time, "but why, why does it matter?" either they'll eventually dismiss the question because they don't want to face the realization, or they'll come to the conclusion, that even if everything they said is correct, my statement here is also correct. If you cannot explain why it mattered to Marx and Engels to do the research, then none of your ideological views matter because you more than likely cannot answer it for yourself. Everything revolves around the seven things: morality, faith (optimism of the will), philosophy, reasoning, logic, emotion, and lived experience, and the cognitive ability to process and understand them; that's not weakening science, it's adding and understanding to it, an understanding of why dialectical materialism matters, where the origin of the questions came from, that led to the analysis that DM provides us all. That is the individual consciousness and when others share that consciousness, it becomes the collective consciousness. Marx and Engels were inspired by humanism and humanism is according to the Cambridge and Collins dictionary, a belief system, and according to Webster and dictionary.com, a philosophy and philosophy according to Webster is, "a system of motivating beliefs, concepts, and principles." The science of dialectical materialism started from a belief, a philosophy, a core feeling, that asked why, "why is" or "why can't" but why none the less. Dialectical Materialism was created by two philosophical materialists, that's what Marx and Engels were, thinkers with beliefs; they may have broken from the methodology of humanism but they could never break from the motivation of humanism, the why they did their work. Maybe It's overstated but all devation, all irreconcilable differences between communists come down to a deviation in moral intuition and understanding. So to my fellow Marxist or Marxism-Leninists, I say to you stop ignoring the ontological preconditions of Dialectical Materialism, the gap between DM as descriptive science and ML as revolutionary praxis.

Again, Marx did his analysis but that doesn't dissolve the problem, it relocates it. If moral intuition is materially produced, then you still need to explain why materially-produced moral intuition toward human liberation should guide praxis over materially-produced moral intuition toward domination. The bourgeoisie has material conditions too. DM can describe both. Choosing the proletariat's standpoint is still a choice, and that choice is moral; and again, morality is a belief, a feeling. We can walk in circles, while agreeing that DM is correct but myself like many will never cave on the ontological preconditions that spawned it. I'm not an idealist, I just understand that materially-produced moral intuitions are not equally valid just because they're materially produced; and that fills the gap Marx's work left open. You're protecting a rhetorical move, not the theory, that's bad faith. Stop hiding the foundation. Bring it forward, name it, argue for it, build collective consciousness around the moral commitments explicitly rather than pretending the science does the work the morality was always actually doing. Exile me if you wish but you cannot hide this thought that flows among the communist mind, who understand they can ask "why does it matter," to infinity but stop when they get to the understanding that it is the moral choice to value human liberation, a consciousness we share collectively. The science exists because morality first made someone care enough to build it, and this has nothing to do with class and everything to do with humanity.

Saying the quiet part out loud doesn't weaken our point; it settles arguments and misunderstandings. It says we're not the cold, analytical robots the bourgeoisie see us as, but warm, feeling human bodies that will not accept being tools for the bourgeoisie's existence. At our core we know what's wrong: Dialectical Materialism gives us the facts based on the evidence, and we will see humanity evolve to its most efficient and optimal form for the betterment of all. We Marxists are moral beings. What's the problem with being moral and ethical? Why shame morals and ethics? Admit it, for capitalists know this as they project their own immorality onto us. To counter them calling us thieves, we have to own it, not reject our morality.
