Anti-antifa Is Just Another Label For The Moderate Fascist

Anti-antifa means: one that is opposed, against, of the same kind but situated opposite, exerting energy in the opposite direction, or pursuing an opposite policy. One that is opposite in kind to, opposing or hostile to in opinion, sympathy, or practice, opposing in effect or activity, serving to prevent, cure, or alleviate, combating or defending against a person or group actively opposing fascism, an anti-fascist movement.

In other words, anti-antifa protects, enables, and even supports fascism from and over anti-fascists.

The definition of pro-fascist is to be in favour of or supporting fascism. Support, as defined, means to uphold or defend as valid or right. When these definitions are placed in sequence, the relationship becomes undeniable: opposing those who oppose fascism results in the protection, enablement, and functional support of fascism itself. Whether direct or indirect, the outcome aligns with sustaining what anti-fascists seek to dismantle.

Tell me the definition of anti-antifa per Webster does not match the definition of pro-fascist per Collins. You can't. Words have meaning, and those leanings are found in dictionaries. You can't tell the dictionary that's not what you meant when you're using the word, because dictionaries have the literal meanings. This is not a matter of semantics or interpretation. It is a matter of following definitions to their logical conclusion. To be anti-antifa is to either be a fascist or a fascist enabler.

And there were terms for the enablers: Social fascist, Liberal fascist, Libertarian fascist, and Anarcho-Fascist or National-Anarchist. In the end, those are just moderate fascists. These aren't insults. They are precise descriptors for people who functionally defend fascist conditions while maintaining plausible deniability through procedural or tactical objections. Historically, there have always been those who enable harmful systems while distancing themselves from the label. Regardless of intent, they defend conditions in which fascism persists.

The "nobody can be held responsible for what they didn't do" argument is historically illiterate. Nuremberg explicitly rejected that logic. Nuremberg established that enabling, facilitating, or failing to oppose systemic harm carries moral weight. The idea that one can stand against opposition to fascism while remaining neutral toward fascism itself does not hold under scrutiny.

The "opposing lawlessness" framing performs a sleight of hand. It redefines the conflict as being about Antifa's tactics rather than fascism's advance. This reframing obscures the root issue and redirects attention from the threat to the response, effectively choosing a side while claiming neutrality. That's the social fascist move in real time. That's not a neutral position. That's choosing a side through misdirection.

In simple terms:

Anti = combating or defending against
Antifa = a person or group actively opposing fascism, an anti-fascist movement.

The bad faith argument is: "combating or defending against what?" And since Antifa only targets all forms of fascism, the answer is that anti-antifa is combating anti-fascism and defending fascism from anti-fascists. Anti-antifa is not just disagreement over tactics. It is opposition to anti-fascist action itself. And when anti-fascism is opposed, what remains unopposed is fascism.

Moving the goalposts doesn't change anything. When it comes to fascists and fascist enablers, better guilty until proven innocent than proving guilty after the damage is done. Antifa only targets two things: fascists, which includes enablers, because we don't separate them, and fascism. What fascists are is settled. People don't always want to accept that understanding because it makes them uncomfortable. Because they, or someone they know, may be fascist by that understanding. They don't want to face the people or organizations they support or care about, so they oppose those who oppose fascists and fascism instead.

Discomfort with that identification does not negate it. It reflects the difficulty of recognizing familiar individuals, institutions, or beliefs within that framework. The distinction is not about intent but effect. Opposing those who resist fascism creates space for it to exist and operate. The anti-antifa false consciousness and mask cannot shield them from being seen and held accountable.

I have defined, proved, historicized, exposed the deflection, and established accountability. Nothing is left unaddressed. All that's remains is the identity protective cognition of the anti-antifa.
