No More Eggshells, No More Sectarian Identity Politics
I am anti-sectarianism in an immoderately-inordinate way. I'm tired of hearing groups say, "We can't talk about liberation until my group is free," or they'll use a different sectarian term like "until ____ is tackled." They argue in bad faith against "nobody's free until we're all free," as they anchor themselves to the past and refuse to let themselves and others be helped, because it's not about getting help, it's about being afraid to move on from that part of their identity, a part of their identity that should be a tool for teaching and advancing humanity collectively towards tomorrow. Not a tool to halt our collective healing and keep our wounds open and infectious.
Race is one of the easiest and most common examples of this to point out, because mention that we have to make it right for yellow and red-skinned people and people lose it, because those are the "wrong" marginalized/minority groups. Like, what do you mean, wrong groups? And even worse, what do you mean, "what do I expect, they're Asian or indigenous?" People keep proving they don't care about racism, and for the record, I don't see or hear this as often towards black or brown people, but I acknowledge there are similar things said about them. Those statements are whips, held by masters currently shackled within our chain gang, walking among us.
All they care about is sectarian identity politics, that example is one of many, which is why anything that divides us must be abolished, and if that's not possible, that division must be heavily regulated to keep it from being weaponized to harm others. This must be enforced without exception or compromise. No more harmful individualism, regardless if it's for a group or an individual.
We're all wage-slaves, whether it's the workers, the homeless, or the shadowy group theory calls the lumpenproletariat. Yes, even some of the unsavory, criminal elements are still wage slaves. That is why we focus on class first. It's about making sure those in rundown areas without basic needs no longer have to suffer from shit being commodified, people being able to advance and evolve who were restricted because of class. Everyone uniting under our collective oneness and equally having a say in decision making. Everyone recognizing our shared obligatory stewardship towards humanity and the planet and being obligated to follow the decision decided via our collective oneness. It's democratic centralism, and an equitable-egalitarian society.
But for many this is unacceptable because it's not about equality, it's about revenge, and using that colonizer mentality that people have been exposed to and indoctrinated with, to seize power and to sit atop the hierarchy and to rule all. Supremacy, colonizer mentality, and chauvinism aren't limited to one sect, and we need to recognize those pushing sectarian identity politics for who and what they are. They are oppressors, they are masters walking among the wage-slaves, seeking control of the whips and chains. They are our class enemies. Exile me if you want.
They may unite with us to knock the elite from their thrones, but they're ready to beat us over the head to seize and sit in those thrones. That is why the big tents, that is why the movements must be vetted. The thrones must all be destroyed, nobody sits on a pedestal, those days are bad history of our humanity. There is no room for the dark triad mentalities, no room for Stirnerists, Spencerians, or fascists, period. Right-wing philosophical-ideological views are oppressive and seek to violate humanity directly and indirectly for their holders' benefit. This is and will always be unacceptable.
The goal is to meet everyone where they are at simultaneously, bring everyone to the same standard, and help everyone advance as far as they're capable of evolving to. The discomfort that language produces in certain readers is not my problem to manage. It's evidence for my thesis. Harmful individualism must be abolished. Humanity knows what it is, and humanity, collectively, must enforce that it isn't acceptable, period, and it must call out the bad faith actors that will reject all this.
Factual-philosophical mercurial neurodivergent secular humanist cognitive reasoning and logic is a gift, even if you don't like its rigidity or how it's communicated, which is occasionally cold. Neurodivergents are known for seeing patterns, and for speaking on things they observe when others aren't ready for those conversations. If the neurotypicals aren't gonna say what must be said, maybe it's time the neurodivergents listened to Lenin and did what must be done. Uncomfortable conversations must be had even if it requires them to be forced. No more eggshells, no more staying under rugs or hiding in closets, no more band aids, or blowing in the boo boos, or thoughts and prayers to make people feel better about themselves. The conversations that need to start must be had, because if you can't trust those walking among you, then you're gonna be too distracted by them to focus on the goal at hand, even among temporary allies. Those with clear irreconcilable differences must start discussing the terms of their alliance, truces must be made, even if temporary for temporary unification for a shared goal. This message is an uncomfortable conversation starter, use it for the tool it is.
I am a Tankie. I view communism as a secular humanist, anti-sectarian (including antitheist), political, philosophical religion based on the science of dialectical materialism and psychology. I don't care if this statement is viewed as a forceful argument for suppressing divisive identity politics in favor of centralized, class-based collective action, written in a militant polemical style. I am rigid in my philosophical-ideological views and uncompromising in my principles. Once we compromise our principles, we'll sell them out for anything. Sell out if you want. - Yaunti, the ML Hive-Mind Collectivist.
