Life Comes Before Liberty, Because Our Founding Fathers Knew Social Responsibility Came Before Personal Freedoms.
Life comes before liberties and happiness for a reason. What good is having liberties and the right to happiness if it means being at risk to or putting those you care about at risk to death?
Employees have the right to want to work in a safe environment and have the liberty to ask their employers to keep them safe by insuring people wear masks. Just as Americans have liberties to ask the government to make sure no americans die by requiring us to be socially responsible.
We have the social responsibility to speak up, to defend the country and to vote, among many other rights that carry social responsibility. Why is defending our country against a virus not treated the same as any other enemy.
We've become so entitled as a people that now any time we're asked to be socially responsible, we act like a bunch of toddlers being told to do chores and act it's a sinester punishment, out to take away our freedoms. If we the people acted responsible and held people accountable for being irresponsible, the government wouldn't have to impose social responsibility laws that put regulations on our liberties.
This guard shouldn't have died. Essential workers shouldn't be getting threatened for wearing masks and shouldn't have to be forced to work without masks because people believe they have the liberty to walk around without having to be reminded that the virus is a serious threat. You don't have the liberty to endanger others, and only a tyrant would think otherwise. We have an amendment to deal with tyrants..
The virus is real, its deadly, and not just to the sick, the young, or the old at risk. The death totals are real. And if anyone thinks what I wrote is BS, I have nothing to say to them; as there's no point in trying to reason with sciopaths, narcissists, anarchists, scofflaws, or tyrants.
Social Distancing is a Patriotic Chore, a chore one who loves their country and cares about the freedom of humanity would do without question. Wearing a mask is a small inconvenience to make sure no lifes are lost. Staying home is a small price to pay to make sure kids don't grow up without a parent. It is our social responsibility to protect the innocent and the weak, the old and the frail. To preserve humanity and the planet.
Our founding Fathers knew that but capitalism has installed nothing but entitlement and greed around the world. It made these things acceptable in societies all around the world and we have been losing too many lives. These used to be sins in almost every religion or faith. Agnostics and atheists used to know greed and entitlement was wrong.
People are what matters, life is what matters, being educated enough to know that, is what matters. Without these three things, we have no liberties, and there is no pursuit of happiness.
