Twelve more things to understand about Introverts.

There is a huge misunderstanding about introverts. Non introverts tend to think it's a choice, kinda the way religious people view sexual orientation. This is a misconception, just like believing everyone is the same. Here are twelve things extroverts need to understand about introverts.

1) There are different levels of introversion, some introverts have small circles and hang out, while others are completely solitary. Many introverts get burned out with simple every day socialization like going to work or shopping.

2) Introverts are not always good at planning social engagements. They can find this mentality taxing, and might struggle coming up with a plan B. You're better off coming up with ideas and asking the introvert if they're interested.

3) Most introverts hate small talk and are bad at holding conversations. Also a normal conversation to an extrovert could be an introvert flirting. Introverts may often put their foot in their mouth.

4) If an introvert is comfortable around you and trusts you enough, they can be one of the silliest and most talkative people you know. They can go on for hours about a subject and miss the fact that you have no interest.

5) Introverts don't care about birthdays, holidays, and other celebrated events. If they treat your birthday like it matters, it's because you're very dear to them. Introverts have no issues working holidays and might not get the big deal about taking it off.

6) Introverts are practical. They choose people who are going to enhance their life. Introverts think long term and are more likely to court than date. Introverts don't tend to spend to impress, and will likely not have a lot of lavish things.

7) There's nothing wrong with introverts. They're not rude, antisocial, or uptight. They just don't normally get pleasure or enjoyment from associating with others the way extroverts do. Introverts are not weird or odd,  people just fail to try and understand them.

8) Introverts tend to see things in black and white. To them there is only a right and wrong way. Introverts often have trouble admitting they're wrong because they don't see it. Introverts occasionally have trouble seeing more than one way to do something.

9) Once an introvert sets their mind on something, it's hard for them to change their minds. Change can be stressful for introverts to deal with.

10) Introverts have set expectations and standards for people and get upset when let down. Introverts can be as wounded as if you personally insulted them.

11) Introverts don't tend to have many hobbies that involve interacting with other people. That doesn't stop introverts from trying to include others.

12) Introverts often put on a persona in public to hide insecurities and may be a completely different person in private. Introverts have to trust you to reveal their true self.
