The Second Amendment

An article I wrote when I was in college for English class on the second amendment.

A well regulated Militia,: being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms,  Shall not be infringed . Looking at and understanding & rewriting the words using the definitions the 2nd amendment looks like this:

A well trained civilians trained as soldiers but not part of the regular army Synonyms: reserves IE the national guard, being so important you must do That which secures or makes safe; protection; guard; defense Freedom from risk; safety and One who becomes surety for another, or engages himself for the performance of another's obligation. from subjection to the will of others; not under restraint, control, or compulsion the United States, one of the commonwealths, or bodies politic, the people of which make up the body of the nation, and which, under the national constitution, being in accordance with what is just, good, or proper, humans making up a group or assembly or linked by a common interest, to continue having or holding to carry weapons, Any thing that a man wears for his defense, or takes in his hands, or uses in his anger, to cast at, or strike at another, to not return, lose, sell, give away, or throw away Shall not be encroach upon in a way that violates law or the rights of another.

Three things emerge from my understanding thanks to the definitions:
1) The second amendment is a obligatory trade off for defending the county when needed and called upon
2) Our rights have all ready been infringed by allowing arms such as knives, Kevlar and other items to be regulated.
3) no other reason is given to why it's necessary for or must be that people own arms; hunting wasnt listed, defending a single individual's home car or business wasnt listed, selling weapons and profiting wasnt listed, randomly killing someone who offends you wasnt listed. All the was listed was to defend a free state wether it be your city, state, or country and they dont specify if its foreign or domestic.  It's the only reason they list as a reason for people to assemble and be trained to use their weapons and the only reason why they say its unlawful to take them away.  If youre not going to defend your country why is it necessary for you to have a weapon how can you come up with another reason and why would the founding father's leave that reason out?
